'Repetitio est mater studiorum'
The course is not just about survival, but winning a lethal encounter. Subjects taught include marksmanship, safety and handling, immediate action, pistol presentation, combat marksmanship, reloading, shooting while moving, multiple targets, moving targets, target discrimination, one-hand shooting, non-standard firing positions, cover and concealment, reduced visibility, mental conditioning and civil liability.
Target Audience: Military, law enforcement, corrections, certified private security personnel.
Prerequisites: None.
Equipment: Duty belt, semi-auto pistol with at least 3 magazines, pistol holster, OC, baton, magazine pouch, handcuffs, eye protection, hearing protection, gloves, elbow and knee pads, ballistic vest and 500 rounds of pistol ammunition.
