When it is time to go hands on and control someone in the performance of your duties, it is imperative that we do so in a manner that allows us to control the situation and outcome. Some of the topics covered are; joint manipulation, body dynamics, controlling positions, positions of advantage, cover and concealment, contact and cover, pressure points and application of restraints.
Target Audience: Military, law enforcement, corrections and certified security personnel.
Prerequisites: None.
Equipment: Duty belt, pistol holster (if authorized), OC, baton, magazine pouch, handcuffs, handcuff key, gloves, training attire.
